KONAD

I finally have my own kit! love love love. I got it for my birthday (and now it's march). Turns out it has a bit of a learning curve and the first night I didn't get to do all my nails because I was late for Kim's bday. Today's are based off of KONADDICT's design but I have the m2 plate. I just got this color of polish yesterday! So lovely. I will edit the pic in after I upload it.

oatmeal cookies

I made these cookies today and they turned out chewy and cakey? I think that's good..proably. The oven at the aunt's runs cold so note to self, make these at 375 degF not 350. Haha let's see how they go over with others. People say they're good but I don't feel the love that I did with say the peanut butter cookies or the chocolate chips. Well as long as it uses up some of the uncle's oatmeal I guess. I wonder if I should aim for a crisper perimeter. For sure these stayed moist and soft at least.

belated again

Plant update, the basil and CA poppies have sprouted, the basil looking very happy and the latter kind of leggy... No cilantro unfortunately but Sellan brought me some adorable mint with cute little leaves. The family wants to go cherry tomatoes so I really want to start a bunch of those now once I find a good place to grab seeds, one of those times to hate being carless. I also feel like I need a new bad of soil cuz mine is currently half soil half compost that isn't broken down yet. If I upturn this into a pot will I be able to access the soil????? I don't have enough pots, dirt, land, or time ahhh. Oh yeah, meet the new residents:

peanut butter cookies

This recipe makes such amaaaaazing peanut butter cookies. I added a couple chocolate chips. I had meant to make them for Mimi and totally forgot and added milk =[ (the chocolate chips were going to be a separate batch) agggh. They sure are tasty though. Oh these are special because they are EGGLESS.

yoi...start!

I just planted some burpee california poppy (sunset mix), ferry morse basil, and cilantro from Daniel's mum. Let's see how long they take to sprout. I'm very very interested in this vertical hanging garden dealio from instructables:

but I'm not yet sure how long it will last, how gross it will get, if I can use rope to support the weight etc. I had read that a number of them the fabric eventually rotted which is a reasonable outcome considering what you're doing (water and dirt and sun) and the material. So instead I've decided to curb myself with restarting a few small pots. I have 2 small pots of columbines that are taking quite a while to grow (considering it's cold outside) maybe I should do them a favor and bring them inside. I'm trying to acclimate them so I can transplant them at my aunt's though.

tired

I had another one of those action dreams. Something like an end of the world scenario, with someone out to get me. Oh and tornados. Last test of the week in 20 minutes and then sweet sweet sleep. Or more likely, nail and eye make up research.

This is my hand wearing one of sephora's sticker nail things. So shiny. One of the dispensary ladies asked if I was getting married... I don't think they look much like bridal nails but ok. The ones in the set were so long I still have half of them because I just flipped the remainder around and used it on a different nail. Actually these get a fair amount of attention which is funny, like older men profs during denture block haha.

obsessions

I met the owners or the kitties and they didn't try to murder me and I am not a druglord. Therefore, we are going through with our mutually beneficial cat barter! I get Mippy and Lita on the 14th and it's gonna be awesome.

I just got properly exposed to Konad's nail stamping stuff and ::DROOL:: Holy intricate designs in all of a second. I'm in loooooove. My wallet better watch out because I needs me a bajillion plates. You don't even need to be dexterous.

Just look at the example!
